{"id":5382,"date":"2021-08-20T15:28:07","date_gmt":"2021-08-20T15:28:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carlcon.com\/?p=5382"},"modified":"2021-08-20T15:28:09","modified_gmt":"2021-08-20T15:28:09","slug":"afcfta-launched-a-youth-competition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carlcon.com\/old\/2021\/08\/20\/afcfta-launched-a-youth-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"AfCFTA launched a youth competition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>A coalition of international organisations has launched a youth competition on African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) for young people in Africa as well as those in the Diaspora with African citizenship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition dubbed the \u2018Umoja Africa Campaign \u2013 Youth Contributing to the Implementation of the AfCFTA\u2019 targets young people between the age of 18 and 35 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The programme is an initiative of United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), Youth Alliance for Leadership and Development in Africa (YALDA), the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Secretariat, Afreximbank, the International Trade Centre (ITC) and the UN Development Programme (UNDP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those interested can submit essays, infographics and\/ or animation on the topic; \u2018The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA)\u2019 from July 31 to Deadline September 31.
