{"id":4795,"date":"2021-06-28T16:34:23","date_gmt":"2021-06-28T16:34:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carlcon.com\/?p=4795"},"modified":"2021-06-28T16:34:25","modified_gmt":"2021-06-28T16:34:25","slug":"son-seizes-substandard-rods-in-lagos","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carlcon.com\/old\/2021\/06\/28\/son-seizes-substandard-rods-in-lagos\/","title":{"rendered":"SON seizes substandard rods in Lagos"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) in collaboration with the Iron Rod Distributors Association of Nigeria (IRDAN) has seized substandard iron rods worth N15 million.<br>The President-General of IRDAN, Mr Gbenga Awoyale, said in Lagos that SON sealed a company in Alimosho area of Lagos that stocked substandard iron rods following hint from IRDAN.<br>Awoyale said that from findings, the substandard rods were supplied by African Steel Nigeria Ltd.<br>\u201dThe owner of the iron rod ran away.
