{"id":4287,"date":"2021-05-27T12:01:56","date_gmt":"2021-05-27T12:01:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/carlcon.com\/?p=4287"},"modified":"2021-05-27T12:01:58","modified_gmt":"2021-05-27T12:01:58","slug":"world-bank-approves-700m-credit-for-water-sanitation-hygiene-in-nigeria","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/carlcon.com\/old\/2021\/05\/27\/world-bank-approves-700m-credit-for-water-sanitation-hygiene-in-nigeria\/","title":{"rendered":"World Bank approves $700m credit for water, sanitation, hygiene in Nigeria"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The World Bank has approved a $700 million credit for the Nigeria Sustainable Urban and Rural Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene Programme (SURWASH).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The $700 million credit is from the bank\u2019s International Development Association (IDA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is a body which helps the world\u2019s poorest countries by providing grants and low to zero-interest loans for projects and programs that boost economic growth, reduce poverty and improve poor people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It made the announcement in a statement on its website in Washington D.
